* Customs Manager - Lachine, Quebec
Location: Lachine, Quebec
Mandate:
Reporting to the Director, National Customs Services, the Customs Manager is responsible for managing a team and ensuring the appropriate and efficient delivery of customs processing services to clients in the Quebec Region. The Manager is also responsible for managing and participating in the development of customs processes, service platforms, and productivity output. Addressing client issues and maintaining positive relationships with them as well as with relevant government authorities are also integral parts of the manager’s role.
Profile:
You are a strong leader and must be able to motivate your team to succeed and deliver results. You also have excellent interpersonal skills and can maintain a strong presence among other teams within the organization. You are process oriented and have a sense of ownership and accountability for your actions especially when it comes to satisfying our clients and developing your team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in managing a team of 10 or more
- Minimum of 10 years experience in customs brokerage and advisory services with exposure to all modes of transport
- CCS designation or CBSA professional qualification certificate mandatory
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and programs, classification, valuation, NAFTA and other FTA's
- LVS and HVS release and acquittal processes as well as cadex interfaces
- Experience in Training and delivery of presentations
- Ability to work in both mainframe and PC environments
- CEGEP or College Diploma
- Must be fluent in English and French

* Ocean Import Associate
Location: Lachine, Quebec
Mandate:
Reporting to the Freight Import Manager, the Import Associate is responsible for monitoring international cargo from origin to its final destination in Canada and the United States. You will be responsible to interact daily with service providers and carriers as well as issue invoices according to policy. You will also be responsible for manifests, monitoring customs clearance and delivery instructions. The Import Clerk must ensure that all deadlines are met in order to provide outstanding service to Delmar’s clients.
Profile:
You have a strong background in logistics and freight operations and possess the ability to work efficiently in a team environment, as well as independently. You are extremely detail oriented and organized, and you have an outstanding ability to multi-task. You have excellent communication and listening skills, and are highly self-motivated.

- College Degree (CEGEP) or equivalent
- CIFFA is considered an asset

* Customs Processing Center Associate
Location: Lachine, Quebec
Mandate:
Reporting to the Customs Processing Center (CPC) manager, the CPC Associate is responsible for handling documentation received from Importers, Freight Forwarders, Airlines, and Transports which must be verified and entered into the Delmar system. Depending on the situation, previously opened files may need to be updated, or new files will need to be created. The CPC Associate will be responsible to request documents from importers to complete files, as well as interact with our customs and freight departments. The CPC Associate must ensure that all deadlines are met in order to provide outstanding service to Delmar’s clients.
